Under Joe Biden, almost 8 million illegal immigrants have entered our country.
Hundreds of known terrorists have snuck across our southern border, illegal crossings
continue to spike, and every state is now a border state.

It’s why I traveled to our Southern border to see first-hand how this could be possible –
and how this can be fixed. I met with local law enforcement tasked with catching
smugglers on American soil who work with the Mexican cartels to traffic drugs and
illegal immigrants.

Just last year, more than 1.1 billion doses of fentanyl were seized at the Southern
border with countless more evading detection. These drugs are manufactured in China,
are transported to Mexico and smuggled through the Southern border, and eventually
make their way to communities across Northeast Wisconsin.

Talk to any local law enforcement near the Southern border and they will tell you that it
doesn’t have to be this way. Joe Biden’s passive posture keeps the Mexican cartels in
charge. In fact, most undocumented immigrants don’t approach our Southern border
without the consent and approval of, and the payment to, the cartels. Smugglers north
of the border — on OUR soil — coordinate with the cartel to receive illegal immigrants and
disperse them across the country. In many cases, these smugglers swindle young men
and women into sex trafficking rings.

An increase in fentanyl and sex trafficking, while border infrastructure gathers dust and
rust. This is Joe Biden’s legacy.

In Congress, I will finish the wall, fund our border agents and make clear that border
